What Olly Murs Taught Me About Training

This weekend I watched the Isle of Wight Festival with two standout performances: Olly Murs and Jess Glynne.
What I didn’t expect was a masterclass in energy, connection, and pure love for the moment from none other than Olly Murs. Olly was different. He showed up. He was in it. I could feel his energy through my screen. He was present, enjoying every moment, and giving everything to the crowd. That’s what a real performance looks like. It’s what living in the moment looks like.
Jess Glynne, on the other hand, had some belting tunes, had the stage, but not the same impact. She looked like she was holding back a little. It felt like she was somewhat just going through the motions. It reminded me of what we see on the gym floor.
And it hit me: That’s exactly the difference i see in the gym, every day.
There are people who show up, do the motions, and leave. And then there are the ones who bring it. Who mean it, live it, and love every drop of sweat.
Our gym floor isn’t just about training; it’s about pure meaning. It’s Olly-level energy. It’s showing up with passion. It’s knowing why you’re here and letting that drive you, rep after rep.
When you train with us, you’re part of something bigger.
So next time you step on the gym floor, ask yourself…
Are you Jess Glynne-ing it? Or are you Olly Murs-ing it?
Choose passion. Choose purpose. Choose to mean it.
See you on the floor.
